Dr. Joseph P. Houseman is originally from Arcadia and completed his pre-chiropractic studies at Northridge University and at Pasadena City College. Dr. Houseman decided to enter the chiropractic profession after an on the job injury sent him to a chiropractor. The remarkable recovery he received from being a chiropractic patient gave Dr. Houseman first hand experience and understanding of health care without having to resort to drugs or surgery.
Dr. Houseman attended Pasadena College of Chiropractic in Pasadena, California. After completing 4,485 hours of classroom instruction and serving an internship, Dr. Houseman received his doctorate in 1985. Doctors of Chiropractic must complete continuing education seminar programs for annual license renewals.
